Naturally, this station comes out of one of the most music-obsessed cities in the world, Seattle. The station is part of U-Dub, but aside from the very eclectic blend of music, it seems more like a commercial radio station than a student-run station.
Streaming is free online in just about any format you could care to use (I prefer the 128 kbps mp3 stream personally).
If you want to know what albums to buy, just check out their top 90.3 albums, which are all excellent (indy-rock dominated, though).
